There is no place like Botswana

Chobe River Cottages booked 2 land drives for us, so we didn't know which provider we would get. Pick up/drop off was great and timely. On our afternoon drive we only had 2 others in our vehicle. On our morning drive it was just us. All staff we dealt with were lovely. We had Mika on both drives and he was lovely. Very reasonably priced. Please tip your guide if he's good.

The location of the park along the river was great. It was the end of the wet season, so everything is green. It makes spotting cats very difficult, but we knew that before we went. We did see a loin, and a leopard up a tree. LOTS of elephants, impala, kudu, giraffe, buffalo, kuku, jackal, African fish eagles and many other birds. Great experience.

My college friends and I stopped by for a few days in Chobe National Park while spending the summer in Africa, and decided to employ the guide services of Big Sam Hubber. We did several game drives, spent a night camping in the bush, and crossed the border into Zimbabwe for Victoria Falls. Their tour guides are very experienced and speak excellent English. Everything ran very smooth and we found some excellent game. Would highly recommend.

I highly recommend this company for a day trip into Botswana. Their service was really good, the guide on the boat ride very friendly, helpful, patient and knowledgeable, the lunch great, the safari drive great with a good guide too. The ladies in the office communicated with me well via text prior to the day and were really nice and helpful. What a great bunch! Big bonus was the price being so reasonable compared to other tour companies. As other reviewers said (that I read before my decision to use them): why use more expensive companies when these guys are so reasonable and so good?!! Would recommend them any day!!

Big Sam Hubber is an amazing company. They gave us the best experience visiting Victoria Falls, Chobe National Park and Chobe River. The service was incredible and the employees were so outgoing and kind. I would highly, highly recommend Big Sam Hubber if you are in Kasane.
